TMC protests against BJP in Parl over alleged scuffle, RS adjourned

Day 3 of the budget session of Parliament begins. TMC MPs protest against the BJP following the alleged scuffle in Parliament yesterday. Rajya Sabha has been adjourned already. Derek O'Brien, TMC MP in the Rajya Sabha was was speaking when the chair adjourned the house.

Yesterday, after the rail minister Sadananda Gowda was presenting the budget, TMC and AAP members rushed to the Well of the House. They raised slogans against the Prime Minister and NDA government, which was greeted by counter-slogans. Two BJP members were seen going to the Well of the House and arguing with the TMC MPs. There was a heated exchange of words and both sides seemed ready for a physical clash, with marshals separating the members belonging to the warring parties.

Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, a TMC MP said unparliamentary words were used by BJP MPs and they were abused.
