No LoP yet: Kharge, Scindia, Amrendra Singh meet Speaker

Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Amrendra Singh meet the Speaker Sumitra Mahajan with a memorandum signed by 60 MPS regarding the Leader of Opposition issue.
On Monday, Congress President Sonia Gandhi stepped into the political tug-of-war between the NDA government and her party over the post of the Leader of the Opposition by saying Congress has a rightful claim over the constitutional post.
Notwithstanding posturing, the government and Congress leaders understand there can't be an easy solution to the political dispute.
Despite Congress' projected readiness to take the dispute to court, the party brass understands the constitutional and political limitations in trying to make the court decide on an issue which is in the 'domain of the Lok Sabha Speaker'.
