Belo Horizonte has turned into a graveyard for the hosts Brazil as Germany has pumped in five without response before the half hour mark in the semi-final.   Miroslav Klose scored the second to better the record set by Ronaldo.

It was the Lazio forward's 16th World Cup goal, and 71st international goal for Germany.   It was Klose's second goal of the tournament.   The 36-year-old, playing in a record fourth semi-final, also scored the equaliser against Ghana.   Bayern Munich star Toni Kroos also racked up a brace with Thomas Mueller and Sani Khedira also getting their names on the scoresheet.
