Describing his tenure in Goa as a "learning experience", outgoing Governor B V Wanchoo has said that the coastal state would always hold a special place in his heart.
"I had the most wonderful time in this beautiful, peaceful and lovely state of Goa, a tenure that was eventful and packed with a variety of enriching and unique experiences. It was also for me personally a learning experience," Wanchoo said in his valedictory press statement.
Wanchoo had resigned on Friday, a day after CBI quizzed him in VVIP chopper deal case. He was appointed in Goa on May 4, 2012.
