BJP MPs in high spirits in Parliament

On the first day of the Narendra Modi government's budget session of Parliament, BJP MPs were mostly seen in the Central Hall today, bubbling with enthusiasm at the eve of the budget session of Parliament.

The Congress MPs on the other hand, remained wall flowers, possibly because of the humiliating debacle in the polls. They shied away from the usual meet-and-greet rituals that is part of Central Hall culture.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was active inside Lok Sabha. When the TMC and Other parties went to the well of the house Rahul Gandhi, who is a back-bencher in Parliament, stood up and walked up to his mother who occupied one of the front benches. Keeping his eyes on Prime Minister Modi, Rahul raised his voice against the price rise, but seemingly in vain.
