Nurses in captivity in Iraq says ISIS likely to release them

Update on the 46 nurses in captivity in Iraq. Rediff.com's Vicky Nanjappa reports that Marina, one of the nurses has managed to get in touch with her father, Jose, and told him that the ISIS is ready to release them. Jose said that his daughter told him that the ISIS told the nurses to keep their bags ready and that they would be dropped to the Tikrit airport soon.

CNN IBN reports that the ISIS otld the nurses to get ready in five minutes and they were likely to be released. The nurses were also allowed to call home.

All the Indian nurses, who were trapped in their hospital basement in Tikrit for the last several days, were moved to a new location and are believed to be safe, the government confirmed yesterday.
