Don't be scared: Moon Moon Sen reacts to TMC MPs rape threat

Reacting to the controversy over Trinamool leader Tapas Pal's remarks, his colleague Moon Moon Sen said, "As a woman I definitely don't endorse what Tapas Pal had said. His words can be part of a dialogue in a film's fight sequence. How could he make such irresponsible statements? How could Tapas forget that our leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee always tells us to maintain peace and harmony? She doesn't support any act of violence."

She added, "To the women of West Bengal, I have a message: there is no need to panic. Raping someone is not that easy. You are safe in this state. There is peace in Jangalmahal. There is harmony in the hills. There is nothing to be scared of."

Sen shared screen space with Pal in the film Baidurya Rahosya.
