Trinamool MPs wife apologises for 'rape' remark

Now Trinamool MP Tapas Paul's wife has apologised for her husband's obnoxious remarks.   The actor-turned-Trinamool leader had reportedly told his supporters in May last year that he won't spare opposition CPI-M for challenging him, threatening that his 'men would rape women' with links to the Left party.  

 

His wife has now conceded that Pal shouldn't have used the word 'rape'. However, speaking to CNN IBN earlier, Tapas Pal said he never used the word rape. He claims to have said 'raid' instead
