People won't spare Cong for fixing LPG cap in first place: BJP

BJP today said it was the UPA government which had in the first place imposed a cap on subsidised domestic LPG cylinders and claimed that the people of the country would neither spare nor forgive it for the same even though it has now agreed to increase the number of such cylinders.

"The Congress government wants people to cheer about their announcement of increasing the cap of subsidised LPG cylinders from nine to 12 per family per year. "(But) people are in no mood to appreciate. They are instead asking a simple question, 'who brought in the cap of six cylinders in the first place?'
