Jayalalithaa to be prosecuted in I-T case

The Supreme Court today refused to discharge Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa from the cases against her for not filing income-tax returns from 1991-94.

The apex court has dismissed Jayalalithaas plea and allowed the trial court to proceed against her.
