Thackeray FB post row: SC to hear PIL challenging Sec 66(a) of IT Act

The Supreme Court will on Monday hear a PIL challenging Section 66(a) of the IT Act filed by the girls from Palghar in Maharashtra who were arrested for posting a status on Facebook after the death of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray.

Shaheen Dhada and Rinu Srinivasan were arrested for posting a comment on Facebook on the bandh after the death of Bal Thackeray on November 17, 2012
