DD to telecast R-Day ceremony on HD channel, Youtube

In a first, national broadcaster Doordarshan will telecast the live proceedings of Republic Day celebrations from Rajpath in Delhi on Sunday in High Definition.

Also for the first time, hearing impaired people will be able to follow the entire live coverage with the help of sign language commentary on three channels DD News, DD Bharati and DD Urdu.

The High Definition content will also be streamed live onYou Tube.
