The Andhra Pradesh assembly gets extension till January 30 on the Telangana Bill. The MLAs had sought extension of four weeks to continue debating the Bill.

President Pranab Mukherjee had sent the draft bill to the state legislature on December 12 and had earlier given time until January 23 to discuss and return it.

Now with the deadline extended, the Centre will have a very narrow window to get the Telangana Bill passed in the Parliament which will commence on February 5 to pass the Vote on Account.

Our Correspondent, Vicky Nanjappa, had in fact reported this yesterday itself, you can read his report here.
