No Gandhi can save Congress: Maneka
January 16, 2014  01:17
Taking on Congress after its massive debacle in the recent assembly elections, BJP MP Maneka Gandhi has said that the ruling has hit such a low that it would not "rise again" even if it announces "any Gandhi" as their Prime Ministerial candidate, referring to Rahul Gandhi's proposed upcoming nomination.

"Even if Congress announces any Gandhi as their Prime Ministerial candidate, they will not rise again now," Maneka said, on the sidelines of a workshop on conservation of wildlife.

Talking to mediapersons, Maneka said Congress has hit such a low that it would not be able to fight BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"Earlier, if a king touched something, it would turn into gold. Now there is nobody in Congress like that," she said.

Taking on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the BJP MP said the Aam Aadmi Party had fooled the people on the promise of water and electricity.
