AAP MLA Binny does an Anna: On fast from Jan 27 for Jan Lokpal Bill
January 16, 2014  11:06
Borrowing from Anna Hazare's penchant for going on fast to get the government to act on his demands, disgruntled AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny says he will go on fast from January 27 to protest against Arvind Kejriwal's government for not delivering its promise on the Jan Lokpal Bill.

Kejriwal had promised that the Jan Lokpal Bill would be passed within 15 days of his coming to power.
Among other things, Binny has accused the Delhi government of of misleading people on power and water promises.
He said AAP is deviating from its principles -- formation of government by taking support of the Congress is against the principles on which AAP was founded.

He said AAP had promised to waive electricity bills, and its decision on water and power did not benefit many.

Binny has accused Kejriwal of acting on the behest of the Congress, and said it was especially close to Sandeep Dikshit, former Delhi CM, Sheila Dikshit's son.

He has also accused Kejriwal of behaving like a dictator and not accepting divergent views. He said all decisions in AAP are taken by just four or five people.
