Tharoor's twitter account hacked, tweets sent to Pak journalist

NDTV reports: Shashi Tharoor, junior minister for human resource development, announced this evening that his Twitter account had been hacked.

"Sorry folks, my @Twitter account has been hacked & will be temporarily deactivated. Bear with me while we solve this." Tharoor tweeted at 5:48 pm.

His announcement was preceded by a series of tweets from his handle to a Pakistani columnist Mehr Tarar, that clearly caught her by surprise and had Twitter abuzz.
