Going through painful moments: French president

Addressing reports about his alleged affair with an actress for the first time, French President Francois Hollande has admitted that he is going through some "painful moment in his personal life".

Media reports had claimed that Hollande was having an affair with French actress Julie Gayet.

His partner Valerie Trierweiler, who has remained mum about the incident, was hospitalised days after the scandal broke.
