AAP may serve notice to rebel MLA Vinod Kumar Binny

AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny is likely to be served a notice by the party after he criticised it for deviating from its promises on the basis of which it was voted to power.

Binny, who was denied a cabinet berth in the AAP government in Delhi, said he would sit on a hunger strike if his party failed to respond to his charges.

"There is a lot of difference in what we promised and what is happening. We are going to hold a press conference tomorrow. We're not going to discuss party affairs behind closed doors," Binny said.

This is not the first time that Binny has revolted. Immediately after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal named his cabinet, Binny said he would divulge details about the party if he was not made a minister.

Binny, a former Congressman, was then promised the post of parliamentary secretary to Chief Minister Kejriwal.
