Congress senior leader Digvijaya Singh reacts to former home secretary RK Singh's charges that Singh claimed Delhi Police was stopped by home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde from questioning a Mumbai-based businessman, who is said to have "some kind of links" with Dawood Ibrahim, in connection with the betting in Indian Premier League, a T-20 cricketing tournament.

Digvijaya tweets: Shinde is a seasoned politician and has held responsible positions in the State and Centre. Such false charges by an ex home secretary are condemnable. His charges are extremely serious and and if he kept quiet then he is guilty also of not fulfilling his assigned responsibility. Shocking!
