I am ready to take charge: Rahul Gandhi

Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi is "ready to take charge".

"I am ready to take responsibility if given. The return of the Congress is good for India," news channel CNN-IBN quoted Gandhi as saying.

Gandhi also revealed that he did not agree with most of the Aam Aadmi Party's policies as the Congress didn't work for "short term gains".

Addressing speculations about his sister Priyanka Gandhi formally entering politics, Rahul said, "I don't think there will be any election related role for her".

He also lashed out at Opposition BJP, claiming that the saffron party wanted to bring "a one man rule in India".
