The Supreme Court agrees to hear the plea of an intern challenging its full
court resolution of not entertaining complaints against its retired judges. The SC will hear the intern's petition on January 15. The intern has filed a plea with the SC to constitute a forum to conduct inquiry into her allegations of sexual harassment. The intern makes Secretary General of Supreme Court, Justice (retd) Swatanter Kumar and the Centre parties in the case.

Former Supreme Court judge Swatanter Kumar who is facing allegations of sexual harassment by a law intern had issued a clarification in a national daily 'the Indian Express ' calling the charges 'false and totally incorrect'. Kumar also refused that he remembered the intern. "She didn't intern with me. At least, I don't even remember if she was my intern," he said.
