Fresh search begins for a house for Kejriwal

Meanwhile, after a big row led to scrapping of a 5-bedroom duplex apartment for him, a fresh search for a new house for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal begin today.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development Sudhir Krishna met Kejriwal yesterday to discuss the issue of an official accommodation for the chief minister.

According to sources, Kejriwal asked Krishna look for a small accommodation for him and a fresh search for Chief Minister's house in New Delhi area will begin today. 

Following a controversy over the allotment of two adjacent five-bedroom duplex flats to him, Kejriwal had refused moving into the accommodation on Bhagwan Dass Road in Mandi House. 

"My house in Kaushambi is a four-bedroom apartment and it's just a five-bedroom flat and a controversy has been created around it. My friends and even supporters have been calling me, saying I should not move into the five-bedroom flat. So, I have decided not to opt for it," Kejriwal had said said.
