Arvind Kejriwal confirms that social activist Medha Patkar will join AAP. The Aam Aadmi Party had contacted the noted activist asking her to join the party. Patkar, who is a convener of the National Alliance of People's Movements and leads the Narmada Bachao Andolan for the rights of the people displaced by the Sardar Sarovar Project, had responded "positively."

Earlier in the day, Kiran Bedi, who had shared the dais with Arvind Kejriwal and Medha Patkar during Anna Hazare's Lokpal movement, said her vote lay with Narendra Modi.
