LIVE! Madhuri, Salman to dance for Akhilesh tonight, Dedh Ishqiya made tax free

In what is being seen as the ruling Samajwadi Party's gift to Madhuri Dixit, the Akhilesh Yadav government has exempted 'Dedh Ishqiya' from entertainment tax in Uttar Pradesh, reports Rediff.com's Sharat Pradhan from Lucknow.

Madhuri arrived Wednesday in the Yadav clan's village Saifai, where she will dance tonight when the final curtain will fall on the 15-day Saifai Mahotsava -- an annual cultural extravaganza held in memory of Mulayam's nephew.

The superstar was flown in to Saifai in a state aircraft and ushered into the village in a cavalcade of limousines and SUVs. The state plane then went to fetch Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and Soha Ali Khan, who will also dance at the show.

News coming in now says that TV crews have been banned from entering Saifai.
