CNN-IBN reports: The special cell of Delhi police during its investigations in the riots-hit Muzaffarnagar has found that the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Tayiba tried contacting riot-hit youngsters from western UP.

According to sources, the terror outfit is trying to infiltrate the communally sensitive areas.

Interrogation of two men arrested from Mewat in December also indicated that the LeT was offering money to lure cadres.

Sources say that the Intelligence Bureau had also intercepted calls that show Pakistan-based LeT commander Javed Baluchi in touch with operatives in north India.

Police had earlier cracked down on the LeT module and arrested 2 people. Hunt is on for remaining LeT operators.
