CPI leader D Raja discharged after bypass surgery

The Communist Party of India (CPI) leader D Raja has undergone a bypass surgery at a city hospital in Mumbai. "D Raja (64) was discharged last night after undergoing a complex cardiac procedure at the Asian Heart Institute here," a hospital spokesperson said.
"The CPI leader underwent the surgery at the hands of Dr Ramakanta Panda, reputed cardiac surgeon," the spokesperson said.
