No international tours for ministers

18 requests for international tours from Union ministers, chief ministers and parliamentary committees are pending with the Prime Minister Office.

The PMO has been rejecting many of these requests because of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

It is also now clear that President, vice-president and prime ministers foreign visits will now be reduced, keeping 2014 poll in mind.
