German Chancellor Angela Merkel injured in skiing accident

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been injured in a cross-country skiing accident in Switzerland, according to a BBC report.

Merkel has fractured a bone in her pelvis and suffered serious bruises in the accident, stated the report.
