Manmohan's 11 am presser at newly-built media centre at Raisina Hill
January 03, 2014  10:43
The newly-built Rs 60 crore National media centre is where the press conference will be held at Raisina Hill. Most journalists invited to the presser have already taken their seats dressed in their winter best. While the media has been hyping the event, most politicians don't seem particularly excited.

The PMO claims the PM has addressed pressers outside Delhi, but at this scale, it's safe to say, this is a once in three years event. The Press Information Bureau officers are buzzing around.

Information and Broadcasting minister Manish Tiwari will anchor the show and not the PM's media advisor Pankaj Pachauri.

The hall itself is very small, and certainly no match for the magnificent Vigyan Bhawan.
