PIL in HC against Delhi CM Kejriwal, AAP

A PIL was today filed in the Delhi high court seeking a direction to the CBI to register a case of cheating and corruption against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Education Minister Manish Sisodia and Aam Aadmi Party for allegedly misleading citizens by making false promises in election manifesto.

The court is required to decide a constitutional issue as to whether making false declarations in the election manifesto to secure votes of the general public amounted to cheating and criminal breach of trust, petitioner advocate M L Sharma said.
