Doctors concerned with Suchitra Sen's fluctuating heart rate

Actress Suchitra Sen remains in a stable condition at a private hospital in Kolkata but her fluctuating heart rate is a cause of concern for the doctors attending on her.

On a course of antibiotics and other supportive therapies for her respiratory ailment, the 82-year-old actress needs continuous monitoring for fluctuating heart rate and oxygen saturation, said a health bulletin issued by Belle Vue clinic today.

Suffering from a respiratory tract infection and fluid accumulation in the lungs, Sen was admitted to the hospital on December 23.
