February 28, 2014  15:28
Excerpts from Narendra Modi's speech in Gulbarga, Karnataka:

"I see a sea of orange here. If people want to see the mood if India, they should circle this area in a helicopter," he said.

"Elections have not been announced yet but there is already a storm brewing. Once the elections are announced the storm will become a tsunami," he added.

He hit out at the Congress saying it won't be able to survive the upcoming political tsunami and that the Congress Party is going to be wiped out because of its sins.

People of India have understood that the reason for their troubles is the Congress party

"Madam came here a few days ago, did she give you an account of the work done by the government? What kind of a democracy is this? In any democracy, the elected representatives must give an account for every paisa and every minute spent," he said.
