25 more toll booths in Maharashtra may go

The state government on Wednesday said it was exploring the possibility of closing down another chunk of around 25 more toll booths which are recovering toll against road and flyover projects worth around Rs 20 crore.

The state is examining whether or not BEST buses can be exempted from paying toll recovery to reduce ticket burden on commuters. Decisions to this effect may come up after the elections. Read
