How a parrot helped Agra cops crack a difficult murder case

In an unusual case highlighting heightened animal sensibility, a pet parrot has helped Agra Police zero in on the killer in a blind murder case.

According to a news story published in Amar Ujala, a married woman Neelam Sharma and her pet dog were murdered earlier this month and the police had failed to make any headway in the case.

The deceased woman was an animal lover and kept the dog and a parrot who were very close to her, the family told the newspaper. Read more
