EC will soon announce dates for Lok Sabha polls

A correspondent in Delhi reports: The Election Commission will declare the schedule for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls once the communique of President Pranab Mukherjee -- appending his consent to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill -- makes it an Act.

The EC has finalised the dates and already informed the Union home ministry about them.

The schedule for the Lok Sabha polls will be announced anytime between February 26 and March 2, according to EC sources.
