Rahul takes charge of campaign, calls CWC meet

Rahul Gandhi has called a meeting of the Congress working committee on Friday, a strong signal that he has taken charge of the party campaign. CWC members include the Congress's senior-most leaders led by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and party chief Sonia Gandhi.

Sources said Rahul is likely to discuss election manifesto and campaign plan with them. The Congress vice-president held a meeting with young party leaders on Thursday to seek suggestions for the manifesto for 2014 elections. Read more
