Vardhan replaces Goel to become Delhi BJP president

BJP today appointed Harsh Vardhan as president of the party's Delhi unit replacing Vijay Goel from the post. Party President Rajnath Singh made the appointment after accepting Goel's resignation who has since been nominated to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan.    

 

Harshvardhan was BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate in the previous Delhi assembly elections in which the party failed to get a simple majority by a narrow margin.
