MHA: Tamil Nadu has no authority to grant remission to Rajiv killers

Just in: The home ministry says the state has no jurisdiction to grant remission to Rajiv Gandhi's killers. The MHA says there has no been communication yet from Tamil Nadu over the issue. However the state cabinet said earlier that the Centre would get three days to respond over the issue.
