LS all set to pass Telangana Bill

BJP leaders had told home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and rural development minister Jairam Ramesh yesterday, that the government should make a specific commitment to compensate Seemandhra region for the loss of revenue because of the transfer of Hyderabad to Telangana, as well as that the legislation seeking the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh be treated as constitution amendment bill.

Today, Shinde announced that Seemandhra would receive a financial package. Following this, the BJP announced in the floor of the house, that it was ready to support the bill.
