Finance Minister P Chidambaram will present an interim budget for the coming fiscal year today. Parliamentary Affairs minister Kamal Nath says that even if the house is disrupted, the finance minister can make the statement to a TV station. Chidambaram is presenting his ninth budget today, just one short of Morarji Desai's 10.
