A new coffee table book offers a rare look inside the well-guarded, high-walled complexes that house New Delhi's diplomatic community.

German author Gladys Abankwa-Meir-Klodt spent two years researching and seeking permission to access the embassies of Chanakyapuri -- the Indian capital's diplomatic enclave created after independence from British rule in 1947. Her book "Delhi's Diplomatic Domains' is the result.
