Jagan, Arun Jaitley discuss future strategies on Telangana

Congress Chief Jagan Reddy YSR on Saturday met Bharatiya Janata Party leader Arun Jaitley and discussed future course of strategies to stop the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Sources say that a three-point proposal was discussed between these two leaders. Jagan is also planning to meet the BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Sunday to get the party's support in stalling the Telangana Bill.

Jagan, who was accompanied by YSR Congress leader and Nellore Member of Parliament Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, assured the BJP that there shall be a proposal for alliance between the YSR Congress and the BJP.

And for such an agreement BJP should ensure they stop the Telangana Bill. Jagan was categorical that YSR congress has the assurance of senior BJP leader L K Advani that the Bill would not be considered as legal. Sources say that the YSR Congress is confident that the BJP will stall the Bill.
