Dhoni involved in cover up: Lalit Modi on IPL spot-fixing report
February 10, 2014  19:50
Talking to CNN-IBN about the IPL spot-fixing report, former chairman Lalit Modi said that the Mudgal report is the tip of the iceberg. "Chennai Super Kings should now be scrapped, as per the rules."

Modi also alleged that Indian cricket captain M S Dhoni, who also leads CSK in the IPL, is involved in the cover up.

He said BCCI chief N Srinivasan has gagged every player and every BCCI official. "Srinivasan should be banned from all sports. He has bought disrepute to the game."

On his return to cricket Modi clarified, "I'm not cutting any deal to return to Indian cricket."

The IPL spot-fixing report submitted by the Justice Mukul Mudgal-led committee has found Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan guilty of betting in IPL.

Meiyappan was a team principal of two-time IPL champions CSK, which is owned by Srinivasan.
