Satya Nadella's father worked for the impoverished India

He is going to be the future CEO of Microsoft, one of the biggest forces of capitalism on the planet.

But Satya Nadella's father B N Yugandhar, a prominent IAS officer who headed the Union rural development ministry, devoted his tenure to helping the poor in India's most impoverished regions.

Yugandhar, who also served as a secretary to then prime minister P V Narasimha Rao, later became a member of the Planning Commission.
