Lynchpin Jaffer Sait did PR job for DMK's first family

Tamil Nadus most powerful IPS officer during the previous DMK regime, Jaffer Sait, was allegedly fully involved in the cover-up operation that was on in the DMK camp prior to the arrest of Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi when the investigations on the 2G scam were at a crucial stage, reports the New Indian Express.

He allegedly tried his best to save Kanimozhi -- with whom he was seemingly close -- from the CBI.
