Cong introduced reservations, will continue to champion them: Sonia

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has said there should be no doubt or ambiguity on Congress' stand on the system of reservation for SC/ST and OBC. The system of reservation was introduced by Congress and it will continue to be championed by Congress, she added.

The comments come in the wake of AICC general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi's remarks that it's high time reservations are given based on economic criterions and not caste.
