Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi met a delegation of representatives from the northeast led by Member of Parliament from Arunachal Pradesh Ninong Ering to discuss the issue of security of youth from the northeast.

Rahul expressed anguish over the death of Arunachal student Nido Taniam and agreed that a free and fair investigation must be carried out into the incident
