Kanchi seer Jayendra Saraswathi's condition stable

Kanchi Mutt senior pontiff Jayendra Saraswathi was today shifted to a private hospital from Hyderabad and his condition is stable, hospital sources said.

"The condition of Sankaracharya of Kanchi Mutt, Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre this morning is stable," a medical bulletin from the Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Hospital said.

"The 79-year-old seer is in a private ward and is being treated for exhaustion. He is progressing well," it added.
