Modi adresses rally in Merrut after Sonia's 'zeher ki kheti' jibe

The BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has started his address at the rally in Meerut shortly amid high security.

Lakhs of people are attending the rally and arrangements have been made to ensure that people travelling from far-off areas reach the venue

The rally comes a day after Congress President Sonia Gandhi accused the BJP of indulging in divisive politics by "sowing seeds of poison" (zeher ki kheti) and instigating violence.
