Student's death: Protestors call off strike

Students from the Northeast, who staged a protest against the death of a student from Arunachal Pradesh after being allegedly beaten up by some shopkeepers in Lajpat Nagar, have called off their strike.

The protestors met Joint CP and DCP South and submitted a memorandum of three demands. The police have promised action.
